01 · SUMMARY
At a glance
| Purchase | Cancellation | Refund position |
| 40-day trial | No cancellation needed. | No payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund. |
| Monthly | Cancel through Link to stop future renewals. Link shows when cancellation takes effect. | Current-period charges are not automatically refundable simply because you cancel, but statutory rights, duplicate/incorrect charges, unresolved product faults and provider-approved refunds remain available. |
| Lifetime | No recurring billing to cancel. | Statutory rights remain. Refunds may also be appropriate for duplicate/incorrect charges or a material product problem that cannot reasonably be remedied. |
The 40-day full trial is provided so you can evaluate Arqhiv before buying. It does not require payment details and does not auto-convert into a paid plan.
02 · TRIAL
Free trial
The Arqhiv trial lasts 40 days from first use and provides full feature access during the trial. Because no card or payment is required to start the trial, there is no trial charge to refund and no paid subscription is created merely by using the trial.
03 · MONTHLY
Cancelling a Monthly subscription
The Monthly plan renews on a recurring basis until cancelled. Managed Payments customers can manage and cancel subscriptions through Link. The Link order/subscription screen will show the effective date of cancellation.
Cancelling stops future renewals after the cancellation becomes effective. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already been charged, unless applicable law requires a refund or a refund is otherwise approved.
If you believe a renewal was charged after a cancellation should already have taken effect, or you were charged incorrectly or more than once, request transaction support through Link / Stripe or contact Arqhiv so the transaction can be reviewed.
04 · LIFETIME
Lifetime purchases
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew. A successful purchase results in a signed Arqhiv Pro licence with no licence expiry date.
A Lifetime purchase is not automatically refundable merely because you later decide you no longer want to use Arqhiv. However, this does not limit mandatory cancellation rights or remedies for digital content that is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer law.
05 · CONSUMER CANCELLATION
Cooling-off rights for digital content
If you are a consumer, the law where you live may give you a cooling-off or cancellation right for an online digital purchase.
For UK consumers, a 14-day cancellation right can apply to digital content purchased online. Where the law permits that right to end early because digital content is supplied immediately, the right only ends early if you expressly requested immediate supply and gave the legally required acknowledgement that you would lose the cancellation right.
If the legally required consent or acknowledgement was not obtained, this policy does not take away a cancellation right that UK or other applicable law gives you.
Any statutory cancellation right applies independently of our normal refund position. If a mandatory local law gives you more favourable rights, those rights take priority.
06 · PRODUCT PROBLEMS
Faulty or non-conforming digital content
If Arqhiv is materially faulty or does not conform to rights that applicable consumer law gives you, contact us with enough information to reproduce the problem. Where appropriate, we may provide troubleshooting, a corrected build, repair/replacement or another remedy.
For UK consumers, statutory remedies for faulty digital content can include repair or replacement and, where the problem cannot be resolved within the requirements of the law, an appropriate price reduction that can in some cases amount to a full refund.
Nothing in this policy requires you to give up a statutory remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
07 · REQUESTS
How to request a refund
Managed Payments transaction support is provided through Link / Stripe. You can request transaction support or a refund through the Link support route associated with your order. You can also contact Arqhiv for product-specific issues.
To help us review a product-related request quickly, include:
- the email address used at checkout;
- the plan purchased (Monthly or Lifetime);
- the approximate purchase date;
- a short description of the issue;
- the transaction, invoice or order reference if available.
Do not send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords or one-time passcodes.
08 · PAYMENT PROCESSING
How approved refunds are processed
Payments are handled through Stripe Managed Payments with Link / Stripe as merchant of record. Approved transaction refunds are processed through the payment system and normally return to the applicable original payment route, subject to the payment provider's procedures and the rules of the payment method.
Stripe / Link may also handle transaction-level refund requests under its Managed Payments processes. The final payment status shown by the payment provider is authoritative for whether the financial refund has been processed.
09 · LICENCE EFFECT
What happens to a licence after a refund
If a paid purchase is fully refunded, reversed or cancelled in a way that removes payment for the licence, the corresponding paid licence rights end unless applicable law or a written resolution says otherwise. You must stop using the refunded paid entitlement and remove any licence key that no longer has a valid paid basis.
A Monthly subscription that is cancelled without refund normally remains governed by the effective cancellation date and the paid entitlement period shown by the subscription/licence state.
10 · DISPUTES
Chargebacks & payment disputes
If a charge appears incorrect, contact Link / Stripe transaction support or Arqhiv before opening a payment dispute where practical. This can often resolve duplicate charges, cancellation timing or product issues faster.
Fraudulent, abusive or knowingly false disputes may result in termination of the related paid licence rights to the extent permitted by law. Legitimate use of a legal consumer remedy or payment-dispute right will not be treated as abuse.
